League Restart

The Metro Basketball Association is very excited to announce that league play will restart on March 13th and 14th. Earlier this week the provincial government announced the restrictions put in place on February 26 have been lifted. The initial schedules which would have been played on February 27 & 28 and March 6 & 7 have been pushed forward and are now posted on your teams schedule. We are working to populate the schedule for the final three weeks of the season taking place in April.

All rules which were in place prior to our short shut down are in place:

• Spectators are not permitted, games will not begin with spectators in the gym.
• Recording/Broadcasting is permitted, but teams MUST follow our guidelines, located here
• All participants need to answer the COVID-19 health questionnaire.
• Team attendance sheets MUST be filled in prior to the game starting and handed to the scorekeeper. GAMES WILL NOT START if teams have not completed this the game will not begin. Attendance sheets can be found on our COVID-19 Info page (click here)

Please remember, all rosters are now locked, players and/or coaches are no longer permitted to be added to the game sheet at game time. If someone is not on the preprinted game sheet they are not permitted in the gym - NO EXCEPTIONS.
